The Capital Flow Almost Everyone Misses

Artificial Intelligence explains today’s investment opportunity.

But AI alone doesn’t explain whyJB AI™ believes there are still more mountains to climb.

There is another capital flow.

One that has quietly repeated across generations.

Understanding it, changes how you see long-term investing forever.

We All Go Through Five Life Stages.

Our working life, and most of our lifetime income, is during :

Build a Family

and

Empty Nest

The financial priorities during these two stages are completely different.

During Build a Family

Building a family is expensive.

Homes.

Children.

Cars.

Education.

Food.

Vacations.

Insurance.

Everything seems to require money.

Families may still invest…

But much of their income is directed toward building a life.

The capital is flowing into buying consumer goods.

During Empty Nest

Then something changes.

Children become financially independent.

Mortgages become smaller—or disappear.

Careers often reach their highest earning years.

Expenses decline.

Savings increase.

Millions of households suddenly have much more money available to invest.

Now ask yourself…

Where does all of that money go?

Their next big financial goal?

Building the Nest Egg

Retirement.

Everyone Has Seen This Chart

Every investor has seen a long-term stock market chart.

Usually, it looks something like this.

It tells you one thing…

The markets go up.

Now Look at the Same Data Differently

Now let’s look at exactly the same market.

Using the exact same data.

This time using a logarithmic scale.

Instead of showing point changes, a logarithmic chart shows percentage changes equally.

Something surprising begins to appear. A pattern.

Notice how the market doesn’t climb smoothly.

Instead, it appears to move upward in a series of giant steps.

Why?

One Generation Changes the Market.

Twice.

When they are Building-a-Family…

and when they become Empty Nesters.

Now, Let’s add one more piece.

Annual Births in the U.S.

Now we shift the Annual Births Chart by 47 years.

Why 47?

Because that represents when people are on average entering their Empty Nest years.

Now let’s see what happens when we overlay those Empty Nest years onto the stock market.

At first glance, these appear to be two completely different charts.

One represents the stock market.

The other represents millions of Americans reaching their Empty Nest years.

But they are actually telling the same story.

The stock market is simply reflecting the changing financial priorities of millions of people as they progress through life.

People don’t wake up one morning and decide to move the stock market.

They simply live their lives.

There were 78 million Baby Boomers born in the U.S.

The Baby Boomer Empty Nesters created one of the best stock market performances ever, from 1982-2000.

There are 84 million Echo Boomers – the kids of the Boomers.

Becoming Empty Nesters over the next two decades.

It’s a significantly larger group than the Boomers.

Not to mention the 20-30 million immigrants who came here recently.

Most of those were 20-30 year olds.

They will also be becoming Empty Nesters in the 2030s and 2040s.

I’ll leave it to your imagination what will happen in the stock market.

I do know this…

They’ll all be padding the Nest Egg for decades.

Perhaps well over 100 million people.

Acting together…

While living their lives how they wish.

The stock market simply reflects which life stage most of us are in.

With one hundred million people all moving into their Empty Nest Life Stage over a long period of years…

That will create one of the largest investment capital flows in history.

They already have $170 Trillion in assets near the start of this Empty Nest Stage.

About half of that is in real estate.

$86 Trillion will be passed on as inheritances.

Feeding the Capital Flows into the 2040’s

Why Doesn’t Everyone See It?

Most investors focus on today’s news.

Today’s earnings reports.

Today’s interest rates.

Today’s inflation.

Today’s headlines.

JB AI looks further ahead.

Years ahead.

Because demographics don’t change overnight.

They create capital flows that can last for decades.

Never Forget This

Your working life lasts about 35-40 years

A generational Build-a-Family → Empty Nest investment cycle lasts about the same length of time.

That means most people experience only one major Empty Nest investment opportunity during their working lifetime.

If you miss it…

You might see another one after you retire.

But you may not have enough time to fully benefit from it.

The current Empty Nest capital flow is still in its early years.

It began in 2022.

It is expected to continue well into the 2040s.

The next Empty Nest capital flow won’t begin for roughly 30 years.

How old will you be then?

Can you really afford to wait?

Every generation gets ONE opportunity.

Is This Yours?

Use It or Lose It.

Today’s Opportunity

Artificial Intelligence explains today’s capital spending.

But demographics explain why JB AI believes this opportunity can continue far longer than most investors expect.

Together…

Technology creates the opportunity.

Demographics sustain the capital flow.

That combination is why JB AI believes there are still
many more mountains to climb.
